This is useful if you need to send touch tone signals for access to telephone banking or long distance services.

www.vtechphones.com 37 Additional information Problem Suggestion The battery does not charge in the handset or the handset battery does not accept charge. • Make sure the handset is placed in the telephone base correctly. The CHARGE light on the telephone base should be on.
www.vtechphones.com 38 Problem Suggestion The CHARGE / IN USE Indicator on the telephone base is ashing. • This is a signal that the battery is very low, completely depleted, when there is no electrical contact between the battery and the telephone base or when the telephone line is in use.

(See page 7 for handset and page 28 for telephone base). • Make sure the telephone line cord and power adapter are plugged in properly (see page 2).
