1-1 Chapter 1 Getting S t arted Introduction The WPS100 projection scanner provides multiple scan patt ern capabilities that support various applica tions at the POS (point of sale ). For fast, intuitive, hands-fr ee scanning, use the rastering, 100-line, omni-d irectional scan pattern.

Once in this mode, each trigger pull will attempt to decode the bar code in front of the scanner . After a period of inactivity while the trigger is not pressed, the scanner will revert to the omnidirectional pattern.
