13 U se spacers if Monitor Arms (MA) do not fit firmly against the back of the television, such as when the back of the television is curved, contains larger recessed mounting holes, or some other obstruction is in the way . Spacers also provide extra room for cables.

WP EC 25 INSTALL THE DECORATIVE END COVERS (EC) Line up the two peg inserts on the back of each End Cover (EC) with the two holes at the ends of the W all Plate (WP), and press into place. Each End Cover is marked with a "L" (for Left side) or "R" (for Right side).
26 PREPARE THE MONITOR ARMS (MA) Before you attempt to attach the TV to the W all Plate (WP), make sure the Monitor Arms (MA) are parallel to the television (in the 0-degree position). This position is indicated by the center marking on the arms as shown.
MA MA 27 PREPARE THE SECURITY SCREWS A djust the Security Screws (L) in the Monitor Arms (MA) so that they do not interfere with installation onto the Wall Plate (WP). Make sure the Security Screws do not extend past the top edge of the bottom mounting bracket of the Monitor Arm as shown.
MOUNT THE TELEVISION W ith the help of an assis tant, lift the television and guide the Monitor Arms (MA) onto the W all Plate (WP) as shown. Afte r the televis ion with the Monit or Arms is attache d to the W all Plat e, lock the Arms int o plac e to preve nt remova l of the televi sion .
