16 DRILL PILOT HOLES Follow directions on the Installation T emplate (IT) carefully . Drill two holes 3" (77mm) deep using a 1/4" (or 6.5mm) size drill bit in the “A” and “B” locations noted on the Installation T emplate. DRILL PILOT HOLES Carefully drill two holes using a 3/8" (or 9.5mm) masonry drill bit in the “A” and “B” locations noted on the Installation T emplate. Each hole should be at least 3-3/4" (95mm) deep. Follow this same procedure for the Lower rail installation on pages 22-23.
19 DO NOT DRILL INTO MORT AR JOINTS! DRILL HOLES AT LEAST 1" (25.4 MM) FROM THE JOINTS. USE A NEW DRILL BIT TO ENSURE OPTIMUM HOLDING ABILITY . DO NOT USE A HAMMER DRILL! NE PAS PERCER DANS LES JOINTS DE MORTIER ! PERCER LES TROUS À AU MOINS 25 MM (1 PO) DES JOINTS.

22 INST ALL THE EXTENSION ARM (EA) After the T op Rail (TR) is securely on the wall, make sure the Extension Arm (EA) is fully extended as shown, and angle the Arm down onto the center of the T op Rail. Make sure the Extension Arm is correctly attached to the T op Rail and mark the holes in the bottom rail with a pencil.

ADJUST THE LATERAL POSITIONING Loosen the two screw s at the bottom of the Lower Rail by turning them 1 to 2 revolutions ( do not remove the screws ) using the Allen Key T ool (AL). Carefully slide the Extension Arm (EA) to the right or to the left to your desired location.

27 DECIDE IF EXTENSIONS ARE NECESSARY Use the Rail Extensions (RE) for television mounting configurations larger than 600mm wide. Use the Arm Extensions (ME) for television mounting configurations taller than 440mm vertically .
IF USING THE RAIL EXTENSIONS (RE): Attach each Rail Extension (RE) to the horizontal rail of the Extension Arm (EA) by inserting the Extensions Bridge (EB) into the Arm and using M6 x 10mm Screws (AM) to secure as shown. T ighten screws fully wit h a Phillips-head screwdriver .
ATTACHING THE ARM EXTENSIONS (ME) Attach the Arm Extensions (ME) to the top and bottom of each Monitor Arm (MA) using two M8 Nuts (AF) for each. Make sure all four M8 Nuts are tightened fully before attaching the Monitor Arms to the television.
PREPARE THE SECRITY SCREWS Insert one Security Screw (L) into each Monitor Arm (MA) as shown. Make sure the Screws do not extend past the hole. PRÉPARER LES VIS DE SÉCURITÉ Introduire une vis de sécurité (L) dans chaque bras de moniteur (MA) comme sur l'illustration.

USING SPACERS Use spacers if the Monitor Arms (MA) do not fit firmly against the back of the television, such as when the back of the television is curved, contains larger recessed mounting holes, or some other obstruction is in the way . Spacers also provide additional room for cables.

34 PREPARE THE EXTENSION ARM (EA) Before you place the television on the wall, first lock the Extension Arm (EA) into a fully extended and level positi on. Using the Allen Key T ool (AL), loosen the Hex screws located underneath each segment of the Extension Arm (EA).

MOUNT THE TELEVISION W ith the help of at least one assistant , lift the television and guide the Monitor Arms (MA) onto the Extension Arm as shown. SECURE THE TELEVISION Once safe ly on the mount, secu re the tele visio n by tighte ning the Securi ty Screws (L) using a Phil lips- head screw drive r as shown. Repe at on both sides . Loos en this Screw to remo ve televis ion. Exerc ise caution when remov ing the tele visi on from the moun t to avoid equi pment damage or persona l injury .
38 ATTACH THE PLASTIC ARM COVERS Align the holes in each T op A rm Cover (T AC) with the pins on the back of each Monitor Arm (MA) and snap into place. Repeat for each Bottom Arm Cover (BAC) as well. Note: the Bottom Arm Covers are slightly shorter than the T op Arm Covers.

40 ATTACH THE RAIL COVERS (TC, BC) Add Each Rail Cover (TC and BC) as shown by snapping them over the wall rails. T o remove the T op Rail Cover (TC), grasp the Cover at the ends and carefully lift the bottom of the Rail Cover in an upward motion.
