Operation 23 Operation Star ting up the pr ojector 1. Plug the powe r cord into the pr ojector and into a wall socket. T urn on the wall sock et switch (where f itted). Check that the PO WER indicator light on the projector lights orange after power has been applied.

Operation 25 Fine-tuning the imag e size and clarity Sharpen t he image by rotating the FOC US ring. Corr ecting k eystone K eyst oning refers to the situation w here the pr ojected image is noticeably wider at either the top or bottom. It occurs when the pr oj ector is not perpendicular to the screen.
Operation 26 Using the menus The projector is equipp ed with On-Screen Displa y (OSD) menus for making various adjustment s and settings. Below is the ov er view of the OSD menu. T o use the OSD menus, please set them to your familiar language first. 1.
Operation 27 Securing the pr ojector Using a security cable lock The projector has to be installed in a safe pl ace to prevent theft. Otherwise, purchase a lock, such as a K ensing ton lock, to secure th e pr ojector . Y ou can locate a K ensington lock slot on the left side of the projector .

Operation 30 Switching input signal The projector can be connected to multiple de vices at the same time . How ever , it can only displa y one full screen at a time . Maintenance 55 Lamp information Getting to kno w the lamp hour When the projector is in operation, the durati on (in hours) of lamp usage is automatically calculated by the built-in timer .
Maintenance 56 Timing of r eplacing the lamp When the Lamp indicat or lights up red or a message a ppears suggesting it is time to replace the lamp , please install a ne w lamp or consult y our dealer . An old lamp ma y cause a malfunction in the pr ojector and in some instances the lam p may explode.
Maintenance 57 Replacing the lamp • If lamp replacement is performed while the projecto r is suspended upside-down fr om the ceiling, mak e sure that no one is underneath the lamp socket to a v oid an y possible injury or damage to the human ey es caused by fractured lamp .
