5 LIQUIDS Liquids, such as water , coffee or tea are able to be overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave oven is not always present.
6 IMPOR T ANT SAFETY INSTR UCTIONS AND PRECA UTIONS CHILDREN Children below the age of 7 should use the microwave oven with a supervising person very near to them. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 should have a supervising person in the same room.
GENERAL SAFETY AL W A YS use potholders to prevent burns when handling utensils that are in contact with hot food. Enough heat from the food can transfer through utensils to cause skin burns. A void steam burns by directing steam away from the face and hands.

13 COOKW ARE SUGGESTIONS It is not necessary to buy all new cookware. Many pieces already in your kitchen can be used successfully in your new microwave oven. Make sure the utensil does not touch the interior walls during cooking. For further reference about utensils or cover- ings, check a good microwave cookbook or follow recipe suggestions.

Using lower power levels increases the cooking time which is recommended for foods such as cheese, milk and long slow cooking of meats.
