User Controls 20 Xerox DP 820 User’s Guide Image Menu Contrast —Controls the degree of dif ference between the lightest and darkest p arts of the image. Adjusting the contrast changes the amount of black and white in the image. The higher the number the greater the contrast.

As the lamp reaches the end of its life, the image becomes darker and the color hues weaker . The projector ’s Lamp LED turns red to let you know that the lamp must be changed soon be fore it fails completely .
