15 2. Put the N an o S IM cards into the card tray with the cu t corner ori ented a s shown and slip it into the card slot. W ARNING ! To avoid da mage to the phone, do not use any other kin d of SIM card , or any non-standa rd Nan o SIM card cut from a SIM card.

NOTE: Some appli cations may require a mi croSD HC card to w ork normally or m ay store certain data o n it. Ther efore, it is recommended that you keep a microSD HC card installe d and not remove or replace it randomly .
17 Charging the Battery Your phone’ s battery should have enough pow er for the phone to turn on, find a signal , and make a few calls. You should fully charge the bat tery as so on as possib le. If the battery is low , there w ill be a pop-up message on the screen.
18 2. Connect t he charger to a standard AC w all outlet. If t he ph one is on, y ou’ll see a c harging icon, s uch as or , appear o n the status bar. 3. Disconnec t the charger when the battery is fully charge d. NOTE: If the battery is extre mely low , you may be unable to p ow er on the phone even w hen it is being ch arged.

27 Protecting Y our Phon e With Scre en Locks You can pro tect your ph one by cre ating a screen lock. When it i s enabled, you need to sw ipe, draw a pattern or ente r a nu meric PIN or a pa ssword to un lock the pho ne’s screen and keys. 1. Touch Setting s > Security on the Home S creen.
28 Protecting Y our Phon e With Encryption You can enc rypt all the data on your phone: Goo gle A ccounts, application data, music and other media, dow nloaded in formation , and so on. If you do, you must ent er a numeri c PIN or a passw ord each time you pow er on your phone .

48 Method two: PIN numbe r 1. Touch Setting s > Wi - Fi from the Ho me Screen. 2. Slide the sw itc h to turn on Wi- Fi . 3. Touch the Menu Key > Advanced > WPS P in Entry . 4. The WPS P in number d isplays on the screen . Enter the Pin numb er in to the acces s point’s se tup page.

54 Connect With Window s Media ® Player Y ou can sync musi c on your pho ne and the computer installed with Window s Media Pl ayer . 1. Connect the phone w ith your co mputer via USB and cho ose Media devi ce (MTP) . 2. Open Windows Media Player and synchroniz e music files.

Sharing Y our Mobile D at a Connection You can sh are your phone’ s da ta ca pabilities through tethering or by acti vating the mo bile ho tspot fe ature to crea te a portable Wi -Fi hotspot.

62 Work ing With the Call Log The Call Log i s a list o f all the calls you've p laced, recei ved, or missed. I t provides a convenient way to r edial a number, retu rn a call, or add a number to your Con tacts. To open the call log, y ou can tou c h the Home Key > an d then touch the RECENT S tab.
