Proportionally stretches a ‘Widescreen’ formatted DVD to fit the entire width of monitor , (leaving black stripes at top and bottom of the monitor).

With playback stopped, press DVD MENU button on System Remote Control to display default SETUP menu: Language Video Audio Ratings Press DVD MENU button at any time to exit SETUP menu.
–38– DVD Operation (Advanced) • Subtitle: Set language of subtitle text. In “AUT O” mode, priority language for the disc being played is used: OSD Menu English English Subtitle Off Chinese A.
–39– DVD Operation (Advanced) Changing Video settings: Picture shape, video format, picture brightness, and picture sharpness can be set according to personal preferences. Use left and right DIRECTION ARROW buttons to select VIDEO from SETUP menu, and press ENTER (highlight indicates current selection).
–40– DVD Operation (Advanced) • V ideo: Sets video format used by DVD Player . NTSC is standard for North America and there is no need to change this setting.
