- 1 - DESCRIPTION The REG-D1 license plate capture camera unit consists of one IR-sensitive monoc hrome camera, one integrated pa nel of Infrared LEDs, and one colo r overview camera. The license pl ate capture camera pr oduces opti mum license plate images during day and ni ght settings in all- weather conditions.

- 3 - INITIAL PREPARATIONS • Determine the oper ating voltage at the installation site. The camera‘s Voltage Regulator Board accepts both 12-24VD C/VAC input without change to internal con nections. See Section 2, Inp ut Pow er C on nec tions . • Determine the optimum l ocation for the camera.

- 5 - 2. INPUT POWER / VIDEO OUTPUT CONNECTIONS The camera unit is pre-co nnected wi th a electrically isolated powe r board for 12 to 24 VDC/VAC operation with no wirin g change or wir ing po larity. Note : Input voltag e is 12VDC to 24VDC for DC input.
