English 1 About This Manual How This Manual is Organized Y ou can ge t the most out of your new oven by reading this manual from beginning to end. This way you will systematically ge t to k now your a ppliance and become familiar with its operation and features.
English 2 Safety Proper Inst allation and Maintenance Have the installer show you the location of the circuit breaker or fuse. Mark it for easy reference. This appliance must be proper ly installed and grou nded by a qualified technician. Connect only to a pr operly grounde d outlet.
English 3 Use this appliance only for it s intended purpose as described in th is manual. For example, never use the appl iance for warm ing or heating the room. Ne ver use the appliance for storage. Always have a working smoke detector nea r the kitchen.
English 4 Always place oven racks in desired locati on while oven is cool. If a rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder cont act the heating elements. Always use dry potholders. Moist or damp potholders on hot surfaces may result in burns from steam.
English 5 Wipe out excessive spillage be fore self-cleaning the oven. Birds have very sensitive re spiratory systems . Keep pet bi rds out of the kitchen or other rooms where kitchen fume s could reach them. During self-clean, fumes are released that may be harmful to birds.
English 6 Getting S t arted Part s and Accessories Parts* * Picture shows double oven. Y our appliance may vary slightly . Cooling Fan The cooling fan runs during all cooking modes. The fan can be heard when it is running, and warm air may be felt as it is released from the oven vent.
English 7 the vent, and condensation may collect in this area. This ar ea may be warm when the oven is in use. Do not block th e vent, s ince it is imp ortant for air circ ulation. Convection Fan The convection fan operates during a ll convection mode s.
English 8 Inserting Rack Flat Rack The rack is designed with a stop so it will stop before coming co mpletely out of the oven and not tilt. Inserting Flat Rack into Oven: Removing Fl at Rack fr om Oven: 1. Grasp rack firmly on both sides and pull rack toward you.
English 9 5. Lift the rack up. 6. Push the rack in completely . 7. Engage the rack’ s front hooks in the accessory brackets. This is very important to ensure that the rack is installed correctly (see the enlarged picture) .
English 10 Control* *This is a double oven control pane l. Y our control p anel may vary slightly . T ouchp ads: Y ou only have to press light ly on the touchpads to op erate them. The touchpads will not work if you press several of them at once, such as when cleanin g them.
English 1 1 Display Symbols* *All symbols are displayed on double ovens. Only the Fast Prehea t Symbol, Panel Lock Indicator , and Probe Sym- bol appear on single ovens. Display: T wo lines appear in the display while settings are being made . The value that appears betwee n the lines can be adjusted.
English 12 Before Using the Oven for the First T ime • Oven must be prope rly installed by a qualified technicia n before use. • Remo ve all packing materials fr om inside and outsid e the oven. • While coo l, wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry .
English 13 Operation About the Appliance Y our new oven combines premium cooking result s and simple operation. The oven design has bee n optimized to impr ove he at distribution in the oven cavity . The result is even browni ng, shorter cook ing times and lo wer energy consumption.
English 14 T o set the clock: 1. The oven must be turned of f in order to access the “ Setup ” m enu. Press Info for two seconds. The " Setup " menu appear s: 2. Use “ + ” and “ - ” to set a 12- or 24-hour cloc k display mode. 3.
English 15 2. Use the arrows to select the " Date " menu item. The year display now ap pears between the two lines: 3. Use “ + ” and “ - ” or the numer ic touchpads to set the year . After two seconds, the month display will appear: 4.
English 16 Selecting the Upper or Lower Oven T o set a heat ing mode and temp erature in a do uble oven, the cor respondi ng oven has to be active. T o select an oven, press Upper or Lower . Setting the Cooking Mode and Temperature T o set the cooking mode and temperature: 1.
English 17 Panel Lock The panel lock is a child safety mecha nism to prevent children from accidentally turning on the oven or changing an oven setting. T urning the p anel lock on and off: T o turn the panel lock on, press and h old the Panel Lock key for four seconds.
English 18 Fast Preheat Fast Preheat heat s the oven quicker than standard p reheat. It is availa ble for Bake, Roast, T rue Convection, Convection Ba ke, Convection Roast, Pizza a nd Pie modes. T o set Fast Preheat: 1. Set the cooking mode and temperatur e.
English 19 Cook Time Use the Cook T ime feature to oper ate the cooking mode for a set period of time. The oven st arts immed iately and then turn s off automatically when the set time is up. CAUTION: T o maintain food safety , do not lea ve food in the oven for more than one hour before or after cook ing.
English 20 End Time/Start Time Use End T ime or S tart T ime to delay the start of a timed mode. Enter the desired time for the mode to end or start. The oven calculates the proper star t time or end time. It start s and stops automatically . T o set the End T ime: 1.
English 21 T o set the Start T ime: 1. Set the Cook T ime. 2. Press ( . The S tart T ime appears between th e lines: 3. Use “ + ” and “- ” or the numeric touchp ads to se t the start time; for instance, 1 1:00 am: 4. Press Start . The oven enters delayed mode.
English 22 Recipe Recipe contains functions with pr e-programmed settings. The cooking mode, temperature and cook time are autom atically activated based on the items you choose in the menu. Howe ver , it is possible to change temperat ure and cook ing time manually .
English 23 Note: • It is necessary to preheat for bake d goods, pie, and pizza. • When using an automatic prog ram, it is not necessary to preheat th e oven when roasting meat or p oultry . • If the food is not cooked to the desired degr ee of doneness, continue by using a normal heating mode (re fer to the cooking charts ).

English 25 Probe The probe measure s the internal temperature of the food. The probe is available for Bake, Roast and all conve ction cooking mo des except Convec tion Broil. Inserting the probe: Insert the tip of the probe in the middle an d thickest p art of th e meat.
English 26 • The range for the internal temper ature is between 135°F and 200°F (60° C and 100°C). • Always use the handle of the probe for inserting and removin g. • Always use a potholder to remove the probe since it becomes hot. • For double oven models: the probe is only ava ilable for the upper oven.
English 27 The following can be set: Menu item Description Default Clock with 12-hour or 24-ho ur display mode. 12-hour Clock Set s the clock. Ye a r Month Day Sets the date. Beeps Setting of beep le ngth for finished cook process, timer and error: Short (10 sec), Medium (2 min), Long (5 min).
English 28 Getting the Most Out of Y our Appliance General T ip s Pan Placement Baking results ar e better if pans are p laced in the center of the ove n. If baking more than one p an on a rack, allow at least 1 " to 1 ½" of air sp ace around the pan.
English 29 Bake The Bake mode can be used to prep are a va riety of food items, from p astries to casseroles. Refer to recipe or p ackage directions for oven temperature and bakin g time. Ti ps: • Preheat the oven if the recip e recommends it. • Baking time will vary with the size, shape and finish of the bakeware.
English 30 Ti ps: • Place food in shallow , uncovered p ans , such as cookie shee ts without sides. • If baking more than one pan on a rack, allo w at least 1” to 1½” of air space around the p an. S tagger p ans so that o ne is not directly above the other ( see graphic below).
English 31 T rue Convection T rue Convection is well suited for cookin g individual serving-sized foods such as cookies and biscuits. It is also good for cooking on multiple racks (2 or 3) at the same time. Baking cookies is possible on 6 racks simultaneously .
English 32 True Convection Chart Pie Use Pie to cook fresh or frozen pies. Ti ps: • Baking times may slightly decr ease when using this mode. Check pie s earlier . • T o prevent over browning, the pie edge may need to be covered with foil or a pie ring.
English 33 Pie Chart Pizza Use the Pizza mode for fresh or frozen pizza. Ti ps: • For a crispy crust, place pizza directly on the rack. • For a softer crust, use a pizza pan. • When proofing dough, coat dough with olive oil and cove r bowl tightly with plastic wrap to prevent crust formation.
English 34 Roast Roast is best suited for large cut s of meat and poultry . Ti ps: • Use a high-sided broil p an, or cover dish with a lid or foil. • Add liquids, such as water , juice, wine, bouillon or stock for flavor and moisture. • Roasting bags are suit able for use in th is mode.
English 35 Convection Roast Chart *Roasting times are approximate and may vary depending on sh ape of the meat. **S tuffed turkey requires a dditional roasting time. The minim um safe tem- perature for stuffing in poultry is 165 ° F . Broil The Broil mode is best suited for cooking thin, tend er cuts of meat (1" or less), poultry and fish.
English 36 Ti ps: • Preheat oven 3– 4 minutes. Do not preheat fo r more than 5 minutes. • S teaks and chops should be at least ¾" thick. • Bru sh fish and poultry with butter or o il to preven t sticking. • Use the broil pan and grid includ ed with the oven.
English 37 Convection Broil Convection Broil mode is well suited fo r cooking thick, tender cuts of me at, poultry and fish. Convection Broil is not recommended for br owning breads, casseroles and other foods. Always use convection b roil with the door closed .
English 38 S peed Convection S peed Convection is well suited for frozen convenience foods such as fish sticks and chicken nugget s. The benefit s of S peed Convection include: • Decrease in cook time since preheating is not necessary . • Crispy and evenly browned frozen foods.
English 39 Proof • Proofing is the rising of yeast dough. • The Proof mode temperature range is 85 ºF to 1 10 ºF . • The default temperature in the Proof mode is 100 ºF . • Loosely cover the bowl or pan and use any rack that accommoda tes the size of the container .
English 40 Dehydrate Use Dehydrate to dry and/or prese rve foods such as fruits, veget ables and herbs. This mode holds an optimum low temperatur e (100 ºF – 160 ºF) while circulating th e heated air to slowly remove moisture. The oven stays on for 48 hou rs before shutting off automatically .
English 41 V egetables Peppers Mushrooms T omatoes W ash and towel dry . Remove me mbrane of peppers, coarsely chopped about 1" pieces. W ash and towel dry . Cut off stem end. Cut in to 1/8" slices. W ash and towel dry . Cut thin slices, 1/8" thick, drain well.
English 42 Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning Self-Clean During Self-Clean , the oven is heated to a very high temperature. Soil is burned of f at this temperature. IMPORT ANT : Wipe out excessive spillage be fore self-cleaning the oven. IMPORT ANT : Do not clean part s or accessories in the Self-Clean oven.
English 43 • The special heat-resistant enam el and the polished compone nts in the o ven can become discolored over time. This is nor ma l and does not affect operation . Do not use scouring p ads or abrasive clea ners to treat discolorations. Avoid These Cleaners Do not use commercia l oven cleaners such as Easy Off®.
English 44 Maintenance Replacing an Oven Light Use only 10 W att, 12 V olt bi-pin halogen lig ht bulbs. These bulbs can be purchased through ret ail stores. Use a clean, dry cloth to ha ndle halogen light bulbs. This will increase the life of the bulb.
English 45 T o replace the halogen bulb on the ove n sidewall: 3. Remove the halogen b ulb and replace. Grasp the new bulb with a clean, dry cloth. 4. Screw the glass cover ba ck on. 5. T urn power back o n at the main power supply (fuse or breake r box).
English 46 Removing the Oven Door T o remove the oven door: T o replace the oven door: m CAUITION: When removing th e door: • Make sure oven is cool and power to the oven has been turne d off befo re removing the door . Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or burns.
English 47 Service Before Calling Service Troubleshooting Chart Oven Problem Possible Causes and Sugg ested Solutions Oven door is locked and will not open, even after coolin g. T urn the ove n off at the circuit breaker and wait five minutes. Turn breaker back on.
