Getting star ted 5 1. - face drinkable and non spark ling wa ter . (The machine must not be used with empty tank!) Plug the power cord into the mains and press the ON button. The machine is ready to use when the cup indicator lights stop and become steady .
- Other functions 6 2. A MODO MIO capsules. Only suita- ble Lavazza “ A MODO MIO” capsules should be placed in the capsule compartment. Single dose capsules NOT use the capsules more than once. Inserting 2 or more capsules can cause the machine to malfunc- tion.
Preparing coee 7 1. Lift the lever , insert a c apsule in the compartment. Close the lever and press either Espresso or Espres- ready , lift the lever and the capsule falls down into the used capsules container . 2. Place a cup on the cup support rack.
Preparing Cappuccino/Latte Macchiato 8 1. Frothing milk for Cappuc cino and Latte Macchiato: F ill the glass of the milk frother with fresh milk (standard fridge temperature of 4-8 degrees) exactly to the level for the Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato line (do not exceed the line).
EN EN 9 4. Preparing Cappuccino: F roth the milk as described in previous 3 steps. Pr epare an Espresso in a Cappuccino cup and then pour the frothed milk on top of the Espresso . 5. Preparing Latte Macchiato: F roth the milk as described in previous 3 steps.
Cleaning and care 10 EN 1. cord and let the machine cool down. Wipe all outer surfaces with a damp cloth. Rinse the wa ter tank once a day . 2. is visible above the grid, the drip tray must be emptied. Lift out grid, tray and waste container . Empty , rinse, dry and put back in place.
Decalcifying 11 EN EN 1. Decalcifying. W e recommend to decalcify the machine regularly depending on the wa ter hardness (2–3 months). We recommend to use Electrolux decalcifying solu- tion EPD4/C/D/E/N/R (never use vinegar). Remove and empty the wa ter tank.
T roubleshooting 12 EN Problems Causes Solutions The machine does not turn on. The machine is not connected to the power source . Connect the machine to the power source . Contact Electrolux customer service. The pump is very noisy. Both indica- tor lights for small and big cups are No wa ter No wa ter in the tank.
Disposal 13 Disposal Pack aging materials The packaging materials are environ- mentally friendly and can be recycled. by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc . Please dispose of the packaging mate- rials in the appropriate container a t the community waste disposal facilities.
