DIRECT VENT ONLY: This type is identied by the prex DV . This appliance draws all of its air f or combustion from outside the dwelling, through a specially designed v ent pipe system. This appliance has been tested and approved for installations from 0 feet to 4500 feet (1372 m) above sea level.

If a plated face has been purchased, it should be unpacked/unwr apped carefully to avoid getting anything on the surface of the nish, including cleaners, polish and nger prints.

L OG S ET AND E MBER I NSTALLATION : The placement of the logs is not arbitr ary . If they are positioned incorr ectly , the ames can be “pinched” and will not burn correctly . The burner (Figure 34) and a f ew of the logs come with locator pins, notches, and ledges which make alignment easier .
