RX600 S6 Operating Manual 49 Hardware installation 4.4 Connecting the server to the mains V CAUTION! The server is automatically set to a mains volt age in the range 100 - 127 V / 200 - 240 V. Y ou may on ly operate the server if it s rated volt age range corresponds to the local mains volt age.
50 Operating Manual RX600 S6 Hardware installation Inst allation requir ements for AC non redundant con figurations For systems not requiring AC redundancy , the power supply subsystem can be installed with up to 4 PSUs. The PSUs can be connected to a single or multiple AC sources.

(The device can be seriously damaged if it is opened without authorization or if repairs are attempted by untrained personnel.

Ê Press the Indicate CSS button on the system board (see the "System Board D3141 for PRIMERGY RX600 S6 T echnical Manual" on the ServerView Suite DVD 2).
104 Operating Manual RX600 S6 CSS components Ê Open the exp ansion card lock by lif ting it up (2). The expansion card is now mechani cally unlocked. Ê Hold the removal tool by t he green handle and pull it out of the PCI slot together with the expansion c ard (3).

Ê Remove the engaging hooks (2) and keep them in a safe place.
106 Operating Manual RX600 S6 CSS components 8.1.4.3 Removing a dumm y module If a slot does not contain an exp ansion card, it is occupied by a dummy module. This is a retaini ng plate with an attached removal tool . Before inserting an additi onal hot-plug ex pansion card, you will first have to remove the dummy module from it s slot.
