L200 Inverter Configuring Drive P arameters 3–15 Multi-speed and Jog Frequency Setting The L200 in verter has the capability to store and output up to 16 preset frequencies to the motor (A020 to A035). As in traditional motion terminology , we call this multi-speed pr ofile capability .
“A” Group: Standard Function s Configuring Drive P arameters 3–16 The jog speed setting is used whenev er the Jog command is activ e. The jog speed setting range is arbitrarily limited to 10 Hz, to provide safety during manual operation.

Parameter A044 selects the inv erter algorithm for generating the frequency output, as sho wn in the diagram to the right (A244 for 2nd motor).
“A” Group: Standard Function s Configuring Drive P arameters 3–18 Be aw are that running the motor at a lo w speed for a long time can cause motor ov erheating. This is particularly true when manual torque boost is ON, or if the mo tor relies on a built-in f an for cooling.

“A” Group: Standard Function s Configuring Drive P arameters 3–20 DC Braking Settings The DC braking feature can provide additional stopping torque when compared to a normal deceleration to a stop. DC braking is particularly useful at lo w speeds when normal decelera- tion torque is minimal.
L200 Inverter Configuring Drive P arameters 3–21 Frequency-related Functions Frequency Limits – Upper and lo wer limits can be imposed on the inv erter output frequency . These limits will appl y regardless of the sou rce of the speed refer- ence.

“A” Group: Standard Function s Configuring Drive P arameters 3–26 NO TE: F or A095 and A096 (and for 2nd motor settings), if you set a very rapid Acc1 or Dec1 time (less than 1.0 second), the in verter ma y not be able to change rates to Acc2 or Dec2 before reaching the ta r get frequency .
L200 Inverter Configuring Drive P arameters 3–27 Accel/Decel Standard acceleration and deceleration is linear . The in v erter CPU ca n also calculate an S-curve acceleration or deceleration curve as sho wn. This profile is useful for fa voring the load characteristics in particu- lar applications.
