64 Using Phone Features 3.1 Using the Phone Like a standard mobile phone, y ou can use your device to make, r eceive , and keep track of calls and send messages. Y ou can also dial directly from Contacts, and easily cop y phonebook entries from your SIM card t o Contacts on your device.
Using Phone F eatures 65 T o enable or disable Airplane Mode Another way to turn off the phone function is to switch your devic e to Airplane Mode . When you enable Airplane Mode, all wireless r adios on your device are turned off, including the phone function, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.

70 Using Phone Features T o put a call on hold Y our device notifies you when you hav e another incoming call, and gives you the choice of rejecting or accepting the call . If you are already on a call and accept the new call, y ou can choose to switch between the two callers, or set up a conferenc e call between all three parties.
