Using th e RTM-8000 40 Installing Dialer Before installing Dialer: Insert the software CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive and double-click the Dialer10EN .exe ic on. The installer starts automa tically. Follow the instructions on the screen to proceed. Getting to know Dialer Starting Dialer To start Diale r: Tap Star t , Pro grams .

Using th e RTM-8000 49 Answering a call When an incomi ng call is rec eived, ring ton e is g enerat ed and t he icon flashes. Mea nwhile, if the caller ID is avail able and can be found in your Phonebook, the caller’s name will appear on the status display.
Using th e RTM-8000 50 Missed call message If a call (or multiple calls) i s missed, the missed call message contain ing the last missed caller’s name ("Unknown number" is shown when the caller’ s name i s unknown) will appea r on th e status display .

Using th e RTM-8000 88 Disp lay Rules You can set up the display format of phone numbers in Dialer with the options of Display Rules. Multiple display rules can b e established and Dialer will dete ct the numbers you entered and convert them t o corre- sponding preset formats automatically.

Changing the priority of a display rule Tap to select a display rule and then tap to move the priority one level up, or t o move the priority o ne level down.
