Disc Notes Preparing New Discs with Spots Rough A new disc may have rough edges on it s inside and outside edges.If a disc w it h rough edges is used, the proper s et ti ng will not be performed and the player will no t play the disc.Therefore, r e mo ve t h e rough edges in advance by using a ball point pen or pencil as shown on the right.
