3 NetBotz Applianc e User’s Guide SSL Support By default, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is enable d on your NetBotz appliance. All browser/appliance interaction can be carried out using SSL by connect ing to the appliance u sing a URL beginning with https (for example, https:// IP_addr ess ).
4 NetBotz Applianc e User’s Guide W eb Client: Getting S t arted The NetBotz W eb Client provides a real-time overview of alerts and device details for a NetBotz appliance running at least version 4.2. It does no t require the Advanced V iew application and Java Runtime Environmen t.

By default, recorded camera images are saved to a subdirectory with the same name as the camera pod, located within a directory named camera in your Ho me directory .

30 NetBotz Appliance User’s Guide Advanced V iew: Pod/Sensor Settings Use the icons in the Pod/Sensors Settings area of the Configuration vi ew to configure the pods and sensors connected to your appliance and configure the alert actions and policies that are used when alerts are reported by sensors.
31 NetBotz Appliance User’s Guide • Send HTTP Post: Sends an HTTP post to a specified HTTP server with i nformation about the alert. The alert notification post can include imag es captured by a came ra pod, a graph, and a map of the sensor-specific data associated with the alert.
