10 4.2 Extension Stage Number Setting Set the number of extension stages to both the QA6ADP and the extension base uni t. The same stage number should be set to both the stage number setting connector o f the ex tension base unit a nd that of the QA6 A DP.
11 5. LOA DING A ND INST A LL A TION 5.1 Mounting/ Removal of QA6ADP (1) Mounting of the QA6ADP The follow ing shows p rocedure s for mounting the QA6AD P on the extension ba se uni t. Mount a board fixing s crew of the QA6ADP to a screw hole (A) at top left of the bo ard.

13 5.2 Connection/ Disconnection of Extension Cable (1) Precaution s for handling an ex tension cable • Do not step on an ex tension cable . • W hen lay ing an ex tension cable , the minimum bend radius of the cable should be 55 mm (2.17 in ch) or more.

16 6. PRECAUTION FOR USING QA 6ADP 6.1 Current Consumpti on of QA6ADP Since 5VDC is supplied to the QA6ADP from the p ower supply module of the main ba se unit, take the current consum ption of the QA6A DP into considerati on when selecting the pow er supply module fo r the main base unit.
17 6.2 Voltage Drop of Extension Cable Since 5VDC is supplied to the QA6ADP from the p ower supply module mounted on the main ba se unit, the v oltage drop w ill be caused in the extension cable. If the spe c ified v oltage (4.75VDC o r mo re) i s not supplied to the IN sid e connector o f the Q A6ADP+A5 B/A6 B, wrong input/output may occur.
