5 Your Telephone’s Controls Y our T elephone’ s Controls Use t he V olume Contro l Bar to control the volume of the h andset, headset, speaker , ringer , and handsfre e. Increa se the volume by pressin g the right si de of the bar . Lower it by pressing the left side.
6 Your Telephone’ s Controls The Navigation Keys allo w you to scroll through Menus and lists on the display . / The Copy Key copies incoming or outgoing call numbers into the Personal Director y on the M3904 . The Quit Key ends a n active applic ation.

8 Terms you should know T erms you should know Attendant — The attendant is a telephone operator in your organization. Call Log — The Call L og can be co nfigured to store either unanswered or all incoming ca lls. These en tries can b e accessed thro ugh your di rector y menu.
9 Terms you should know Meridian 1, Meridian SL-100 — Th e Meridian 1 or the Merid ian SL-100 is your office communications syste m. More... — The More Key allows access to the multiple layer s of Programmable Soft Keys. These k eys are th e keys located b elow the disp lay on your telephon e.

37 Incoming calls Use Call Pickup Call Pickup allows you to pick up a call from any telephone in the same Pickup Group or another Pickup Group. This feature must b e enabled by y our netw ork administrator . T o answer a call in your own Call Pickup Grou p: 1.
38 Incoming calls Use Call W aiting Call W aiting puts your current call on hold, while you answer an in coming call. Example: Th e attendant rou tes an outside ca ll to you wh ile you are on an existi ng call. Call W aiting allows you to recognize th e call and respond to it.
