Before you start 01 6 En Chapter 1: Before you start Features • Quick response power supply cir cuit The superior power supply circuit adopted by this unit achieve s vastly improved res ponse by employing ‘no feedback’ circuitry and low impedence paral lel main capaci tors character- isticly used in professional audio monitoring.
Before you start 01 7 En Inserting the battery Insert the lithium ba tt ery (CR2025) into the remote control as shown below. The battery supplied with this unit is stored in the battery casing (see step 3 below). When you notice a decrease in the operating range, replace the battery in the same manner.
Connecting up 02 8 En Chapter 2: Connecting up Making cable connections Make sure not to bend the cables over the top of this unit (as sh own in the illust ration). If this happens, the magnetic field produced by the transformers in this unit may cause a humming noise from th e speakers.
Connecting up 02 9 En 2 Connect t he analog outputs of your t ape deck (or other recorder) to th e TAPE inputs (IN) on this receiver. Then connect the audio inputs on the tape deck to the TAPE outputs (OUT) o n this receive r. This will allow you to make reco rdings from the components connected to this receiver.
Connecting up 02 10 En Connecting the speakers Make sure you connect the speaker on the right to the right terminal and the speaker on the left to the left terminal. Also make sure the positive and negative ( + / – ) terminals on the receiver match those on the speak ers.
