13 — ENG BEFORE ST AR T UP This generator has been shipped from the factory without oil in the crankcase. Operating the unit without oil can damage the engine. Always check engine oil level before every start. Running engine low of oil or out of oil could result in serious damage to the engine.
14 — ENG STOPPING ENGINE 1. Disconnect all electrical loads. 2. T ur n OFF/RUN/ST ART switch to "OFF" position. 3. Close fuel shut-off valve. CONNECTING ELECTRICAL LOADS 1. Let engine run and warm up for five minutes after starting with no electrical load.
15 — ENG MAINTENANCE GENERAL RECOMMENDA TIONS The warranty of the generator does not cover items that have been subjected to operator abuse or negligence. T o receive full value from the warranty , operator must maintain the generator as instructed in this manual.
