1. Operating co nditions 1.3 Heat Dis sipation/Cooling Thermal M anagemen t The projector is fan cooled and must be installed with suf fi cient space mainly in the front and at the bottom (minimum 5 cm) and on the sides to ensure suf fi cient air fl ow.
1. Operati ng conditio ns 1.4 Input Power Input power requirements The DP-1500 projector operates from a nominal mono phase power net with a separate earth ground PE. The DP-1500 projector requires 200–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz, 20 am ps at 200 V AC with a separate earth ground PE.

At delivery the projector is packed in a carton box upon a w ooden pallet and secure d with banding and fastening clips. Furthermore, to provide protection during transportat ion, the projector is surrounded with foam.

This size must be used throughout the entir e system and installed t o eliminate any possibility of downdraft or rain dripping into the lamp house.

5. Lens es & lens ho lder 5.6 Lens shift, zoom & focus Manual or motorized lens adjus tment The DP-1500 projector can be equipped with a motorized or manual lens shift functionality and/or a motorized or manual z oom & focus functionality .

The lens holder has to be adjusted so that the “shar p focus plane” of the projected image fal ls together with the plane of the sc reen (Fp1 → F p2). This is achieved by changing the distance between the DMD plane and the lens plane ( Lp1 → Lp2).

10. Projector re gistration 10.1 Introduction Overview The current projector i s DCI compliant and should be registered by Barco. Therefore, the digital certi fi cate inside the projector will be used to secure encryption key communication between the projector and the rest of the theatre system (server and theatre man- agement system).
