The nam e is case- sensitive and cannot exc eed 32 characters. Link Status - The current connection status of t he card.
LA-5030 PC Ca rd & LA-503 3 PCI Adapt er A-6 Signal Quality - Signal Quality is a Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) indication displayed in percen tage. It demonstrates how “noisy” the current environment is. A higher value indicates a better wireless environment.
A-7 Profile Selection - The profile selection setting allows the user to save different configurations for different working enviro nments. The default profile contains the configuration setting s when the card is initially installed. Cre ate a new profile by selecting the Create New button.

Association T ype - Includes Open and Sh ared mode. • Open Mode : With this setting any station in the wireless network dev ices can associate with an Access Point to receive and to transmit data.
A-9 WEP keys are used for packet enc ryption. The Passphrase is used to save time. If a Passphrase is entered, the keys are ge nerated in real time. ASCII - The user can configure the WEP key by se lecting the checkbox of ASCII and types th e WEP key in key 1 -4 fields manually .
