After closing the disc tray by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE b utton or selecting an y disc by using the DISC SKIP b uttons when this unit is stopped, the display sho ws the total number of tracks and the total recorded time of the selected disc for a few seconds.

English FUNCTIONS FOR RECORDING 17 En CD SYNCHRONIZED RECORDING Using a compatible Y AMAHA tape deck, you can synchronize the tape deck to start recording automatically when this unit starts playback. W ith this function, you can record a CD on tape more easily and precisely .
18 En Y ou can select any of four tape lengths by pressing the T APE b utton. Y ou can also enter the total possible recording time of the tape manually . Example: For a C-64 tape (32 minutes on each side) 4 Press the REPEA T button. The unit automatically programs tracks for side A and side B separately considering the total time of the tape.
