English – 13 P OWER O N /O FF CONTROLS Starting your system Press the power button on the remote or on the console to start your system. In several seconds the power LED on the console ch anges from blinking to steady green. The system is now ready to use.

Note: Since most televisions come wi th an IR (infrared) remote, you may need to point the Bose ® remote at your TV to operate it.

English – 17 O PERATING Y OUR C ONNECTED D EVICES Playing an iPod or iPhone (235/135 or V35/V25 systems only) Y our L IFESTYLE ® system can play audio and video fr om your iPod or iPhone. Be sure to dock your iPod before attempti ng to select it. It will not appear in the SOURCE list until you dock it.
18 – English O PERATING Y OUR C ONNECTED D EVIC ES Using the fr ont console inputs The front of the console provides analog A/V inputs plus a USB and an HDMI input. These inputs appear in the SO URCE menu as A/V (Front), USB, and HDMI (Fr ont) only when a device is connected.

The Bose ® remote does not contr ol a device connected to this input. Y ou need to use the con trols on the d evice it self or th e remote that came wi th it.
