When placing the media center , ensure that it is close enough to othe r sources (TV , DVD, VCR, cable or satellite box) to allow for easy cable connections.
I NSTALLATION English 11 Placing the cube speakers When you place your speakers approximately as shown in Figure 8 on page 11, they provide the audio atmosphere of a home theater . Y o u can experiment with speaker placement and orientation to produce the most ple asing sound.

I NSTALLATION English 15 Installing the TV on/of f sensor The TV on/off sensor enable s the system to automatically turn on th e TV when another video source (DVD, cable/ satellite box, etc.) is selected. If you choose not to use the sensor , you must turn on your TV separately .

T o play the audio from that sour ce through your Lifestyle ® system, you must connect the audio coming out of the TV to the Lifestyle ® system.
I NSTALLATION English 19 Using the IR emitter Normally , the Lifestyle ® remote can control all of your source devices. However , in rar e cases, some of your source devices may not operate correctly under control of the Lifestyle ® remote–for example, if your sour ce devices are stor ed in a cabinet with doors.

In addition to controlling your Lifestyle ® system, th e remote can be programmed to control each source device connecte d to your system.

The Lifes tyle ® system is initially set to display an image on a widescreen-shaped TV . If your TV is the n ormal shape, you should adjust the Lifestyle ® system setting fr om widescreen to norma l.
